Project Description:

This rare level III calibration of HDM-4 deterioration curve models used a unique methodology of creating a representative sample of 50 one kilometre road segments that represented more than 70% of the Brazilian National Road Network of about 60,000 kilometres, and collecting data on them for 5 years using sophisticated equipment, including yearly calibration of the collected data using advanced statistical estimation techniques. Validation of existing level II calibration data, and validation of existing data on the road network which was part of the sampling population, based on the Client’s databases.
