This project is a full IT program – an asset management system of the interurban road network of Ecuador, encompassing 6,000 kilometres of paved roads. The project included data collection of the roads, including road furniture, engineering and economic evaluation of 75 pavement treatment alternatives, split-up between labour, capital and materials of both periodic maintenance and routine maintenance activities, GIS and video display of the road network, and calibration of vehicle operating costs in HDM-4 format to local conditions.
