Karmiel and Haihud Train Stations

The Karmiel and Ahihud train stations are part of a huge project to build the Acre-Karmiel train, with a total cost of NIS 8.2 billion. Passenger stations – Ahihud and Carmiel, which are being built with an investment of about NIS 230 million.

Ahihud station includes the central station building, two side platforms to which a sunken passage will lead, and the structure of control and monitoring systems, a double track between the platforms, passenger service stations, a parking lot that will contain about 180 parking spaces and a 900-meter-long access road to the station.

Carmiel station will include a transportation center with a two-story passenger terminal, passenger docks and a parking lot for more than 700 vehicles. Adjacent to the station, a large transportation center has been established to be used for buses and public transportation. The area, which includes a station building, control and monitoring and a parking lot that will be spread over about 1,500 square meters. The project includes about 5,000 square meters of paving and development areas and the construction of 3,000 square meters of retaining walls
