IIRSA Sur, sections 2 and 3 are part of the South Interoceanic Road Corridor. These sections are indispensable for the integration and socio-economic development of the extensive region of southern Peru and South America in general, since it facilitates the commercial flow between the central region of western Brazil and the northern sector of Bolivia with Peru, to the Pacific Ocean basin to the west of the Asian continent. The study aimed to assess the structural and functional condition of the pavement built by the Odebrecht company in the years 2006 and 2010 and to establish its residual structural life. The corridor is 656 km long, on which measurements were made with high-performance equipment.
