Asset Management System for Peru

This Asset Management System for the interurban road network of Peru and all its bridges (about 17,000 kilometres and 3,000 bridges). The project included placement of geographical milestones at each kilometre of road (known as monumentation), development of a GIS map of the road network. Valuation of the road network using economic and financial tools. Data collection using sophisticated equipment, including a distress survey, video survey, road furniture survey, drainage, bearing capacity using Falling Weight Deflectometer equipment, roughness and rutting using a laser profilometer. Additional elements included data entry in complex database structures, training of the relevant government users, etc.
